Cardiac arrest is the primary reason of sudden death if
not managed timely. Biomedical engineers developed many medical devices to diagnose and inspect diseases. Healthcare is becoming one of the major issues for everyone due to population growth and medical expenses. Many people experience cardiac arrest because of the impurity level of cooking oil which results the blockage of veins and arteries in the blood circulation. A continual surveillance system is the need of the hour to observe the Electrocardiographic (ECG) remotely over the internet. Electrocardiographic (ECG) is the most effective method to measure heart signals with an electrical depolarization and repolarization. This system is employed in healthcare systems and in labs, which is highly expensive and difficult for patients who live in rural areas. Wireless communication technology enables the creation of a network of devices connected through the internet. A heart patient monitoring system using IoT allows the clinicians to check their patients remotely by using the smartphone based Blynk application for handling and envisioning the patient’s heart ECG signal. This monitoring procedure may be carried out at any time and location, eliminating the need for visiting a hospital. The proposed system has heart ECG and heart rate details on mobile phones and doctor’s smart device that can be easily checked and managed by having electrodes on the heart. The other benefit of this system is storing previous data during any emergency. This previous history of cardiac patients may help the doctor in prescription and to reduce patient’s risk factors. The developed application can be a potential source for the non-stop medical health monitoring of cardiac patients.
